First off, you can try getting a free one by calling your phone carrier and requesting one. If you tell them you are planning to travel abroad and have had a contract with them for at least 3 months usually they will get your a Nokia E71 unlock code for free. However, this does not always work with all phone carriers, but I have had luck with both T-Mobile and AT&T.

Unlocking a GW300 Viewty from LG only takes a few steps! However, first you will need an LG unlock code. There are many ways to go about getting your unlock code and this is most often the hardest part. Firstly, you can try searching Google for a LG unlock code generator. Secondly, you can call your phone carrier’s support yourself and request one. As long as you have had service with them for over 3 months they will generally be alright dong this. Regardless, you will need to give your LG GW300 Viewty’s IMEI number to get your unlock code. You can find your phone’s IMEI number simply by typing *#06# and hitting enter.

2. Enter 2945#*700#
3. A menu will pop up, select SIM Unlock.
